Nearly twenty-five thousand homes in south-east Queensland found themselves experiencing outages on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems swept through the area, bringing strong winds topping 109km/h.
Substantial Hailstones and Extensive Impact
Residents reported giant hailstones as large as 7cm in particular locations. Meteorological experts announced that different parts across Queensland had been hit with significant hail.

Tomorrow was expected to become the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity predicted across different parts of both regions.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, specifically given the existing atmospheric conditions.
