I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Ex two time unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at UK rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
